Rock Lounge and Hard Rock Hotel Marbella Bring a New Edition of Marbella Music Week

Rock Lounge brings to Marbella two international events that mark the return of Marbella Music
Week this summer. The Sister Sledge concert on Saturday, July 30, and the great performance by
UB40 with Ali Campbell on Saturday, August 6, will be the focus of this musical event that will be held
at the Marbella Arena with the sponsorship of Hard Rock Hotel Marbella. David Giles, CEO of Rock Lounge, has highlighted the importance of having the special collaboration of the
famous international brand that since July 14 has been added to the city’s hotel offer with the opening
of a new establishment with a unique design inspired by music in which no a collection of exclusive
musical objects could be missing.

During the presentation of Marbella Music Week, Giles recalled that Rock Lounge has been
promoting events since the late 1990s with many of the music legends from the 1950s to the present,
including stars such as Eric Clapton, Roger Waters, Rod Stewart, Seal, Simply Red, George Benson,
Van Morrison, Blondie, Michael Bolton and Kool and the Gang, among others.

In this new edition, Marbella Music Week will bring Sister Sledge, the iconic disco band, who have
filled dance floors around the world with their famous anthems. Over the years, the group has racked
up a string of gold and platinum hits, generating total sales of over 200 million worldwide. Sister
Sledge will perform at the Marbella Arena in Puerto Banús on Saturday July 30 with a full band.

For its part, the innovative reggae group from the United Kingdom, UB40 with Ali Campbell, comes to
Marbella on Saturday August 6 after filling stadiums throughout Europe and will perform many of their
greatest hits such as «Red Red Wine», «Kingston Town ” and many more.

During the presentation of Marbella Music Week, Iván Corzo, director of marketing and sales of
Hard Rock Hotel Marbella has indicated that after the opening on July 14, the central idea is to bring
something different to the city, which is why it has opened its doors in Marbella. Corzo has pointed
out that the hotel is not only focused on attracting tourists but also for the local public to enjoy it.

Ignacio Gómez-Escolar, director of Hard Rock Hotel Marbella, has concluded the informative
meeting highlighting that the collaboration with Rock Lounge is due to the synergy that exists
between both brands since one of its fundamental pillars is music.
